Built By Someone
Who Gets It.
Fantera was founded by someone who understands college athletics from the inside — as a fan, as a former commercial real estate professional, and as an MBA candidate studying the business of sport.
Eric is a Texas A&M alum and MBA candidate at TCU Neeley School of Business, concentrating in Investments and pursuing the CFA designation. Before Fantera, he spent five years in commercial real estate brokerage and corporate FP&A — building the financial modeling, transaction analysis, and data architecture expertise that now powers Fantera's platform. He saw the gap in college athletics fan infrastructure firsthand as an Aggie and built the solution.
Why College Athletics. Why Now.
The Learfield-to-Playfly transition at Texas A&M isn't an isolated event — it's a signal. The era of leasing your fan relationship from a multimedia rights vendor is ending. Schools that build their own fan identity infrastructure in the next 24 months will have a permanent competitive advantage.
Fantera exists to give programs something they've never had: transparent fan intelligence, a direct revenue share from data monetization, and a rewarded fan base that keeps coming back.
Three products — a fan engagement app, an intelligence dashboard, and a data marketplace — all connected by a single identity graph, with a 15% revenue share flowing directly to the athletic program.
Get in TouchThis Is a Real Product.
